Beyond all the bleeps and black censor boxes, which rendered the South Park 201 episode not unlike a slice of Swiss cheese, Comedy Central also quietly refused to air it a second time. Im as anti-censorship as any one person can be but after hearing the speech at the end, im not surprised Comedy Central censored it, in fact im surprised they allowed this to air at all. The video however still has censored boxes over Muhammad and im gonna take a guess that South Park Studios did this as an in-joke. It is probably as close South Park has gotten to a full-on banned episode. For South Park fans who missed the first airing of the now hotly-controversial 201 episode, which further explored the idea of showing an image of Muhammad, chances are you missed it altogether. I have the entire episode with uncut audio, no raw audio bleeps. You can also not find this episode digitally on any legal platform and I also bet it has never been re-aired on TV. On to top this off, the DVD/Blu-ray kept the censorship (which is extra infuriating as the home media releases are supposed to be uncensored). And honestly Comedy Central's action also proved Stone and Parker's message (which the uncensored speech has been leaked online), violence is the only way you can censor people. While Stone and Parker would've been willing to stand their ground and keep the episode as intended, Comedy Central pussied out and over censored the episode to appease these extremists. Once extremist Muslims found about this, threats of violence to Stone, Parker, and Viacom/Comed Central was made. The episode was about the Muslim profit Muhammad being brought to South Park so all of the celebrities the show has made fun of can use Muhammad to not to be made fun of anymore.
